About the Book

Arne lives with his mother on the outskirts of the town, hated for her reputation as a foreign witch as much as for his own mixed heritage. No one can deny his father was a hero, but now that he has gone, youths like the fearsome Gunnar have turned against Arne, and the next fight he finds himself in may very well be his last.
Still, there are some in the town who are as isolated and disliked as the young Viking, such as the strange twins Revna and Kåre. Revna speaks to animals and is better than any with a bow, while Kåre’s wits are nearly as fast as his legs. With these odd allies, Arne will win not only his reputation, but another unlikely friendship.
Soon, the wolfpack will travel the seven seas, see battle upon English soil, and seek out distant New Worlds.
